Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Linda Joyce My most recent book, Her Heart's Desire, comes from my twelve years in Kansas. There is so much I love about Kansas. The sunrises, sunsets, the open spaces and a sense of vastness--history of the pioneers trekking across uncharted territory. I had the greatest community of friends in Kansas City. I miss them dearly. But at the end of the day, this girl is southern and had to move home.
