The best thing about being a writer? You get to create. I'm a Christian and I write inspirational suspense--fiction for women. I have a hard time making myself sit down and plot though. I'm one who prays, fingers on the keyboard, and turns my imagination loose. I create characters, let them show me who they are and allow them make me care about them, love them and their story. I build them settings, circumstances, friends, family, and of course, get them in and out of both easy problems and horrendous trouble. Plots evolve naturally and sub-plots nudge their way in. It's the tip of the iceberg, but a big part of "what's best about being a writer!" ☺
