Hi, I'm so glad you're a member of Goodreads and have taken a moment to stop by and get acquainted.

If you enjoy reading inspirational edge-of-your-seat suspense novels with a thread of romance and strong young women protagonists--I've written two for you!

My latest novel, Out of the Shadows, was released July 7, 2018 and my debut novel, The Stonekeepers, was released in the spring of 2015, both books published by Elk Lake Publishing, Inc.

I'm represented by my wonderful agent, Diana Flegal of Hartline Literary Agency.

My husband, Jerry, and I have lived on the East Coast of Florida for many years. I've always loved to write, but have multi-tasked, raising a family and owning an insurance business. We have two married children and are thankfu

I have a hard time making myself sit down and plot though. I'm one who prays, fingers on the keyboard, and turns my imagination loose. I create characters, let them show me who they are and allow them make me care about them, love them and their story. I build them settings, circumstances, friends, family, and of course, get them in and out of both easy problems and horrendous trouble. Plots evolve naturally and sub-plots nudge their way in. It's the tip of the iceberg, but a big part of "what's best about being a writer!" ☺ (less)

Mid-October is spectacular in Western North Carolina this year. The hardwoods are coloring up, especially the maples, vivid and bright with their fluttery robes of red and gold leaves. Jerry and I love the cooler temperatures, but we have to return to Florida next week.

We’re on the way home from one of our meandering scenic drives when I decide to buy another Loafers Glory T-shirt at the Genera... Read more of this blog post »

“Patience is more than endurance. A saint's life is in the hands of God like a bow and arrow in the hands of an archer. God is aiming at something the saint cannot see, and He stretches and strains, and every now and again the saint says--'I cannot stand anymore.' God does not heed, He goes on stretching till His purpose is in sight, then He lets fly. Trust yourself in God's hands. Maintain your relationship to Jesus Christ by the patience of faith. 'Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.”
