I've been very lucky, I really haven't had a bad experience since I started my writing career. I have, of course, had a few disappointments.
Like every writer, I wish my books sold more copies, but I guess the biggest disappointment of all is that I've yet to be approached by a Hollywood studio which wants to make a TV series/movie based on my fantasy trilogy. I'm not downhearted though. As Curly said in the film City Slickers, 'day ain't over yet'.
