Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Frank Parker Near my home there is the remains of a Norman castle. When I researched its history I discovered the history behind my latest book. I was inspired to re-tell the history from the point of view of one of the participants, a young woman given in marriage to a warrior in exchange for his help for her father.
