Is the Thessaly series going to be a duology or a trilogy? I discovered The Philosopher Kings the other day on NetGalley and it was love. Totally going to go back and read The Just City now :)

Jo Walton Trilogy. Three books, and then complete.

I am nearly done with book 3, which is called NECESSITY.

(It's such a fun title. When people ask me why I am doing things: "Why did you go to Bologna, Jo?" "Necessity!")

Hi Jo, I love your diverse range of books. The only other writer I can think of who writes across so many genres is Michael Faber. However, I tried to recommend your books to someone and they said, no thanks, she writes fantasy. I tried to explain to them you're more broad than that. However, it made me curious how you feel to be considered a Science fiction and fantasy writer and if that's how you think of yourself?

Jo, after finishing Transcription by K. Atkinson I wished for a few paragraphs at least of Juliet’s happy discovery of Italy and enjoyment of motherhood, things you describe movingly in My Real Children. I read My Real Children shortly after readingLife After Life and I thought they enriched each other. Have you read Life After Life and do you think it is a work of SFF? (If MRC is, then LAL is IMO.)
