While reading Soaring I thought about how Amelia had to redeem herself for her kids & for some reason I thought of Susie Sheperd from the The 'Burg series.Would you ever write a redemption story w/ her considering how she was left in At Peace or a character similar to her? She's such a terrible person but I figure that if anyone can make her likeable it can be you.

Kristen Ashley Actually, Susie fascinates me. Whereas Tina Blackstone (from The 'Burg series) just annoys me, I think there's something deeper under Susie's awfulness. And yes, it came from that very short moment at the end of her scene in AT PEACE.

So the answer is, yes. I'd love to have do something with Susie someday. The 'Burg series is ending with Merry and Cheryl's story but I like to revisit characters. So who knows what the future will bring for Susie? But I do hope it'll bring me time to explore what's behind her drive to be so ugly all the time. :-) Glad to know I'll have one person who'd read it if I did it!
