Can this be read as separate short stories, or is it necessary to read all nine stories, in order, to appreciate this book?

Tiemen I personally really enjoyed the overarching meta-narrative and how it thematically tied the separate stories together in a fairly natural progression.…moreI personally really enjoyed the overarching meta-narrative and how it thematically tied the separate stories together in a fairly natural progression. It feels like a journey through the evolution of robotics and gets framed very well as such, and gains a bit more meaning in the process. It can be read separately but i prefer the way it was put together in the finished book. (less)
