i am a but confuse about its series.. i have all 7 books of the witcher series but i do not know which one is 1st book and which one is 2nd, and from where to start reading all.. The name of these books are: Blood of Elves Times of Contempt Baptism of Fire The Tower of the Swallow The Lady of the Lake The Sword of Destiny The Last Wish Can anyone guide me please ??

Some early books were written later to tell the stories that are referred to in later books. But all in all it was the decision of the author to create a story without exact dates and learning the chronology was made unnecessarily hard for the readers. The way the books of the final saga were presented didn't help either. I would have expected a title like "The Witcher Saga Book I: Blood of Elves".(less)
