I loved the book. Can't wait to read the sequels. In the tanks where they are experimenting on the Omegas, are they trying to separate (find the gene) that links the two together, or are the Alphas putting them in tanks so no one can get to them and harm them, thus hurting the Alphas also? There are a lot of other questions, but I know that they will be answered in the other books to come. Thanks.

As for the tanks, you're right that their main purpose is to preserve the Omegas for the sake of protecting the Alphas - but without giving too much away, I can tell you that Book 2 goes a lot further into whether or not there might be a way to break the link between twins...

I am reading the cookbook of common prayer and am puzzled and intrigued by the place of death. Why Buckinghamshire? there are plenty of caves and underground rivers that flash flood, but not in Buckinghamshire. The only ‘caves’ are the man made “Hellfire” caves, spectacular in their construction and use but hard to drown in and no good for caving/ potholing or spelunking.
