I'm apprehensive about reading this book. This is typically a genre I wouldn't read (not to mention I haven't seen the trilogy) but I know it's a classic best-seller. Why should I read the book? What should I take away from the book? Why do you recommend it to me?

It was a pleasant surprise and a nice change of genre. I actually read a few chapters then started watching the movie, always staying ahead in the book of course. I don't think I could've watched the movie without reading the book. The book is nothing earth-shattering but it's definitely worth your time.(less)
