Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Vaughn C. Hardacker The idea for THE FISHERMAN came from my late wife, Connie. We visited Vancouver, BC and she fell in love with the city. She came into my office with an online news story, it dealt with the case on which my novel was inspired, and said "You can write a book based on this." It took me 13 years to finally finish it. Unfortunately, cancer took her from me and she never got to see the finished book.
