Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Susan C. Shea A question I missed last year - sorry. MIXED UP WITH MURDER comes from a handful of experiences, suitably fictionalized, of course: I used to work with very wealthy people and met a man somewhat like the Silicon Valley VC (venture capitalist) in the story. I love fine art. My work took me to champagne-hosted polo matches for two summers. I'm from the East coast and have worked at two small colleges like the one Dani goes to visit. It all becomes a stew in my head before a voice inside me says, "What if...?"
