Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marcel Feldmar The idea, the basic idea, for The Devil's Jukebox actually came to me years ago. Many years ago. I was on tour with my old Vancouver band, and I just started thinking about the Muses and inspiration. How things have changed. How the things that inspired artists centuries ago are no longer the things that inspire us now. What happened to those muses, those inspirations - if they are immortal, they have to change and stay alive with the shift of time.

The idea for the novel I am currently working on came from a cocktail menu that sat in front of me as I enjoyed some whiskey with a friend.
