Good evening! I have just finished Prudence and am left with a question: Why did the lioness wreak havoc on the tea shop? It *appeared* as though finding Rue at the tea shop was a surprise, and the lioness seemed to have impeccable manners otherwise, at least where tea is concerned. Or milk. Many thanks!

Gail Carriger I think, as a general rule, with cats, there is very little explanation. I think she did it, because it was fun, and she could.
