I'd love to write more of Mac and Tony, but I'm not likely to, for a while. The Life Lessons stories all weave a mystery in with the guys' personal lives, and Tony has been associated with more dead bodies than any teacher should be. I do hope to write another, down the road, when the kids are older and there's been enough of a break to get Tony plausibly embroiled in another murder case.
I have played with the idea of a sequel for Tobin and Lyon. I left some things, like the disappearance of magic, unsolved. And Lyon still has healing left to do. It's on my "maybe" list, but that list is pretty long. It's also always a bit intimidating to write a sequel to a book people have really enjoyed, for fear of not measuring up to the first. But maybe, someday, I'll have Tobin and Lyon make a field trip, perhaps in the entourage of an ambassador to a foreign land, to find out about the magic...
