Who or what was your inspiration to start writing books? and Why was it inspiring to you?

Katie McGarry Arianna,

I'm a storyteller. It's what God put me on this planet to do. Ever since I was a small child, stories were always spinning in my head. I spent a good portion of my life believing I wasn't special enough to be an author. A few years ago I stopped saying I couldn't and asked myself a very important question: Why not me? Why can't I be a published author?

The answer: the only person stopping me was myself.

That doesn't mean the road to publication was easy. In fact, it's a very difficult road, but I'm glad that I pursued it. Writing these stories has been life changing for me.

What keeps me writing during the tough times are my readers. I often receive emails telling me how my books helped and offered hope. I went through some rough things when I was younger and I was desperate for hope. I write the books I needed during those difficult times.
