I was wondering if you would ever consider (or have in the past) written anything that isn't in the same genre as your published books? Any interest in screenwriting or writing for television? Lastly, would you ever consider co-authoring something with your mom? I love your work. Thanks!
Christopher Rice
Well, I'll be trying a new genre for the first time year. Erotic romance. People assume that's just erotica. That it's just sex. But they're ignoring the romance part of the label. Romance implies a "happily ever after" (or HEA) and that's a challenge. That means the fun stuff actually has to turn into something lasting and solid and convincing. It's been very exciting. THE FLAME releases this November and you can add it to your shelf on Goodreads. And I just found out a very popular mainstream romance author will be featuring a teaser from it in her upcoming summer release. More on that as details emerge. As for co-authoring something with my mother, the closest I've come so far is penning a screenplay of THE TALE OF THE BODY THIEF. We're currently working to finalize the deal with Universal Pictures, but the deal is complex and involves a lot of underlying rights. Fingers crossed!

I don't really have a question, just a comment. I just finished reading "The Vines" and I loved it! I am hoping the ending is indicative of a sequel. Since I haven't read any of your previous titles, and you were totally unknown to me, I did not realize who your mother is until I read the Acknowlegment section. I will be added your other titles to my TBR list.

If you could write a book about a vampire what would the vampire be like?
