Goodreads asked Michael Tincher:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Michael Tincher By doing my version of a rain dance. I think about what I'm trying to say. If I'm stuck, it's usually because I'm trying to tell it from the wrong perspective or I don't know enough about that character. Often times, I'll go take a shower, put on some music, dance like no body's watching, and reflect on these things. (Don't do this at home, dancing in the shower can be dangerous...I know.) But it's surprising how such a mindless task not only makes you smell better, but refreshes your thinking about the story.
