Do you know how many books will be in your Blackthorn and Grim series? Will it be a trilogy or do you plan on making it longer? I loved Wildwood Dancing and all of your other books, though I have yet to read Cybeles Secret..I just would rather marathon the whole series than be anxious for the next ones to come out!

Juliet Marillier That's the million dollar question! I have a contact for three books (with both my Australian and US publishers.) Book 2, Tower of Thorns, will be published in late 2015 and I am writing book 3 this year, for publication in late 2016. Story-wise, there is no way I can finish this the way I want to in three books. It would just be too soon for a conclusion for my two major characters, Blackthorn and Grim. So if my existing publishers don't want to publish the series after book three I will be looking at alternatives (small press or self-publishing, with worldwide availability.) Sorry I can't give you a firmer answer, I understand the wish to read the whole series through - it would be 5 or 6 books. If it helps, the B&G books are written to work as stand-alones, with a complete mystery story in each novel. However, the personal story of the two central characters spans the whole series.
