I would love for Prince of Fools to make the short list (vote here, 2 clicks, no registration http://www.gemmellawards.com/award-vo... ) - and making the short list with book 1 of a new series will be HARD, but I think a new author should win the axe each year. I'm hoping it will be Robin Hobb this year with Fool's Assassin. In the second round of voting I'll be cheer leading for Robin whether I'm on the short list or not.

Hello, Mark! Huge fan. Possibly against my better judgement, I began the Broken Empire series at the very edgy age of 13. I finished the Broken Empire Trilogy and The Red Queen's War trilogy all within the month of July of 2016. I absolutely love both characters, though I identified with Jalan more. Which of all your characters (Jorg, Jalan, Nona) have you enjoyed w riting about the most? Forgive me if this was asked.
