what do you do when you don't know where the story is going and you are stuck?

Sherrilyn Kenyon I close my eyes and listen to the characters talking to each other. Like listening in on a conversation. They always lead me where they want to go. The only time I get into trouble is when I try to make them do what I want them to do.
