What was your inspiration for writing the Pendragon series? Morpheus Road?
D.J. MacHale
My answer is always the same to the inspiration question: real life. At the core of all of my stories is something real. A character, a situation, a dilemma, a conflict. Something that is all about real life and readers can (hopefully) relate to. From there I layer on the supernatural/science fiction/fantasy stuff. But that's all sizzle. When you break my stories down to their essence, they're all about real life.

I just finished Strike and i have no words. I usually play my Xbox and my PC for my free time and never even think of reading a book instead, but once i started reading SYLO, i couldn't stop. This book has to be the best plotted book ever to be plotted. I loved that every time i had a hint of what was going on, it was blown away by a major plot twist. Now, when are you making a movie on this? Would be the best movie

It may not be your decision in the end but do you think that we will one day have new editions of the Pendragon series? I am not an illustrator but I would have so many ideas and I am sure publishing companies would as well. This series was my refuge for all of my teenage years and I appreciate it so much as an adult.
