Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

L.R. Trovillion Much of the setting and events in the novel comes from my experiences owning and showing horses for a few decades, but the core of the story--the struggles of a teen on the brink of adulthood--well, that's just something we all grapple with at one time or another. The painful experiences in Cory Iverson's life, however, are made more acute owing to her lack of self-confidence and escalating family problems surrounding her.
