Juliet Marillier Hi Irini! The sea monsters in Seer of Sevenwaters are more like dragons than anything else. I was thinking of those old maps, made before people had a really clear picture of the world, and how they used to have warnings 'Here be Monsters' in some parts of the ocean, with little drawings of dragon-like creatures in the water.
