Oddly enough (since it's not one of his more famous novels), this was the very first King book that I read. It still remains one of my favorites. I fell in love with it. It's a fantastic story and if you're a fan of Stephen King, I would definitely recommend it.

I thought so. I haven't reads lot of Stephen King, but I did enjoy it, I liked the ending. I did get a little confused at the end trying to keep track of who tricked who. Hey it had to be a good book to get me to read 960 pages.

I read this book many many years ago and it left a lasting impression on me. It is on my re-read list. Of his less famous books it stands out as my favorite.

It is my by far my favorite Stephen King novel. This will be the 5th time I am reading it (and that is mostly because I found a hardcover 1st edition of it at a used bookstore for 3 bucks)

Yes!! fantastic King. You wont be able to put it down! lots of characters, lots of action, lots of darkness and intertwining lives being toyed with by a mysterious dark new shop keeper in town.
