Goodreads asked Gary Webb:

How do you get inspired to write?

Gary Webb I have no idea. I just write about what interests me (after doing a few days of thorough keyword analysis to make sure that it will sell). If it won't sell, then it goes to the trash or to a blog article. Even then, I try to make it transmit value to the reader. Keeping the readers in mind really helps. I also try to listen to people when they write or talk about problems they are tackling. Then, I write something about it as soon as possible. I do have a list of about 50 books that I would like to write. I look at those from time to time. That encourages me that the well isn't dry!
