Goodreads asked Mark O. Purifoy:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Mark O. Purifoy For me, writer's block come from two things: loss of inspiration or lack of energy. If it is the former, I spend a day and a half reading two or three books. I find that the style in which the author writes in, or the conflict the author writes about, or the characters in which the author develops help to inspire my writing.

If it is the latter, I spend hours on Netflix, watching my favorite shows, such as the Walking Dead, American Horror Story, or Family Guy. Not only do they relieve any anxiety I have about writing, they also provide inspiration for me, whether it be the action in the Walking Dead, the dialogue in American Horror Story, or the comic relief in Family Guy.
