Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Edna Stewart The idea came from myself, after dealing with a tramatic brain injury getting back into life. I had to start writing just to learn how to function again. "How can a brain be without any words?" I always wanted to be a writer to tell my stories that are somewhat true and based on things in my life. It came about when writing about what would happen if a true Southern author makes it big as a published author? The story begin to flow. The setting is around Onslow County, where most of my books live.
