Also, Karen Marie Moning in her Fever Series (this series got me hooked on PNR)- has a bad-ass protagonist heroine/lead, and an incredible UF-type plot line with some mystery and world building, while still retaining a good dose of romance (and heat) and an ultra hot alpha-male type romantic interest. The Fever series' plot is so engaging and interesting that I was reading it for the sake of storyline over the romance, which for me, is saying something because I'm not a huge fan of UF in itself.(less)
