The Green Mile, Christine, Different Seasons (skip "Apt Pupil", the other three are great in my opinion though), The Shining and Carrie. I prefer his first ten or 12 novels. (Go to Wikipedia to find the chronological order of King's books and decide what you'd like to read!)(less)
