I love reading your League series and was wondering what is your inspiration for the series?

The original 5 League characters, Nyk, Syn, Darling, Hauk and Jayne were my imaginary playmates from childhood. Seriously. I started writing the first League novel at age 9 and one of my best friends still has a 450 page League novel that I wrote when I was 12. I gave her that copy to hold on to in case my house burned down.
Yes, it's true. My imaginary playmates as a child were all military space assassins. It says a lot about my childhood, doesn't it?

So, I been a huge fan since high school and it was the DH series that started my own love for writing. I think a large part of that is because of the characters you create and how they just come alive in the books, especially in Acheron and Styxx. I was just wondering how you create such in-depth characters and if you had any advice for someone who struggles in that area?

Hi Sherrilyn, greetings from a new fan of the Dark Hunter series from China! :) It is amazing how you manage to put something this original and powerful together - my question is, do you ever get "lost" while creating the entire framework of the series? How do you deal with your writer's block (if any) in terms of creating the background of the stories?
