Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tamera Alexander The idea for A Beauty So Rare came straight from history. History found at the Belmont Mansion in Nashville, Tennessee, not far from where I live. The first time I stepped foot in the Belmont Mansion in 2004, I knew I wanted to write about the people who lived there and the events that happened during the late nineteenth century.
