Hi Gena - I would love to know your process as you define the specifics of the worlds and environments of your books. How do you determine the levels of technology, the buildings/structures, the costumes, the cultures, the interactions between paranormal creatures? I love your work and have been a fan since meeting the Lords of the Underworld!

I usually only write the details that interest me, or that I need to paint a scene or understand story/world/characters. If I don't want to read it, or if it bores me, it gets cut :)
