Gena Showalter I thought I'd be a nurse or something in the medical field -- nothing grosses me out -- but after a semester of clinicals I realized I had a horrible bedside manner. But in jr high and high school I did love to write. However, it wasn't until my early 20's that I realized I wanted to do it full time.

I go very sick after writing the 1st WRC book and was bed bound(isn) for about two months, but during that time I spent a lot of time reading the Bible and was hugely inspired to make the WRC series what it is today. Good vs evil. Spirit vs spirit. I'm grateful for that time!

I love the lords of the underworld, Torin and Gideon are my book boyfriends. I do have a couple of questions. Did you base Gideon on someone, or were certain aspects of his personality based on anyone?
