I'm one of the lucky ones who gets his ideas RIGHT as I'm about to fall asleep. It never fails. Every time. I have notebooks upon notebooks filled with my half-awake chicken scratch outlining the basic plots of my books. I currently have 23 in some stage of completion and PLENTY more kicking around in my head!
