How do you get inspired to write?

K. Michael As a child, I was always an avid reader and film fanatic. I started creating my own stories even then - writing down little tales here, and playing out imaginary movies in which I played all the characters... except for when I'd make my little sister participate, which usually ended with her screaming, terrified that the "killer" was going to really come and get her.
