As a child, I was always an avid reader and film fanatic. I started creating my own stories even then - writing down little tales here, and playing out imaginary movies in which I played all the characters... except for when I'd make my little sister participate, which usually ended with her screaming, terrified that the "killer" was going to really come and get her.

The best cure for writer's block is reading! Watching films and looking at old pieces of my own writing work great as well, or exploring visual art for inspiration.
