Hi. I know I ask a lot of questions, but I have another one. Would you ever consider writing another SYLO book, like a prequel or something, or was STRIKE really the end of the SYLO Chronicles? Thanks for answering!

D.J. MacHale I don't have any plans to continue that story. Of course, I never say never to anything. If I ever come up with a brilliant idea that I would just have to write, I'd consider it. But I'm not trying to come up with that idea.

As someone who also has the tendency to stay dedicated to one vast fictional universe for a long period of time, I’m curious: how long before you began writing the merchant of death did you have the idea for Pendragon? And did you know how it would end when you began writing? Or did you make it up as you went along?
