Margo Roberts asked Katy Regnery:

I'm soo excited to be on Goodreads now! And to have a way to ask questions. Already a fan of the English Brothers, I was happy to learn of your new series about the Winslow Brothers. Brooks is first... Was this an easy story to write or more difficult? What can we, as readers, expect from this new leading man? :)

Katy Regnery MARGO!! Hey sweetie!! I love this question!! :)

First things first - "Bidding on Brooks" isn't finished yet!! I've written 35,000 words and it needs to be 55,000-60,000 words so I am a little over halfway finished. Brooks and Skylar are firmly "in like" at this point, and things are deepening between them day by day.

We learned a little about Brooks Winslow in Jessica's story, "Anyone but Alex," The English Brothers #3. He's the oldest of five siblings, and when Taylor Winslow (Brooks and Jessica's father) passed away, Brooks took a lot of responsibility on his shoulders. That sort of responsibility at a young age changes a boy to a man, but not without consequences.

We also know he's very driven - he's an Olympic medalist, and has spent the last ten years racing, judging races, reporting on races for network affiliates. He years to settle down now, but his emotional baggage makes it difficult...
