Goodreads asked David Simon:

How do you get inspired to write?

David Simon I have worked a long time in ministry, and as an educator, taught many lessons. My wife told me to put one of my projects in writing, and the result was two books. First - Spring: Connecting with God; then the book my wife told me to write - A Christian Passover in the Jewish Tradition.
For me to write is amazing, I had dyslexia, and did very poorly in English. I still mix up letters, and my grammar is poor; but I have family members who help; especially my youngest daughter who is great with English (and graphics, see hre website http://www.sjsimon.com/ .
Once I began writing, ideas came to mind. I have a catalog of at least 15 books to keep me busy ... I am working on them one at a time.
