Much like Elie Wiesel's Night, the events that take place in this book are terribly sad, and it could be overwhelming for a younger reader. While Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl addresses the threat of Nazism, it doesn't graphically describe families being separated and the conditions within the camps; Sarah's Key does. (less)
