Do you have a favorite character or place that you have written?

Amy Lillard My latest contemporary romance, Southern Hospitality, is set in my favorite state of Tennessee. :) But I love to write about Texas and Oklahoma as well. More than anything, I like to write about small town life, the people who have known each other forever and the streets with one stop light that blinks red in one direction and yellow in the other. To me these stories are like air. But maybe that's because I grew up in a place like that. I left and 'moved on.' Which means I've spent all the time since then trying to get back.

As for characters, I truly love them all. And the one I'm working on now is my favorite. But I have to admit that Rachel and Gabriel from Gabriel's Bride are among the top. Gabriel was fun because he was crotchety and Rachel is more like me than I care to admit. LOL They will always have a special place in my heart.
