Lucinda Riley
I absolutely love what I do. And having had my time in the wilderness as a writer, I appreciate every single moment of what’s happened now. I work 24/7 and gain enormous satisfaction from putting the stories in my head on paper and seeing them published around the world – even if I get rich I would still always write. Money has never been the driver for me, and I believe it isn’t for most successful people.
I have also been able to travel extensively with my work and it’s taken me to places I probably would never have gone to. Some of these visits have then given me inspiration for future books, and wonderful friends too!
I would not do well in an office, behind a desk and with restricted working hours. I like to be on the move and work when it best suits me. I tend to write in the morning and evening, and over the weekends, which means I have to be strict with myself, but at least I’m my own boss.

Lucinda Riley:
Hi Lucinda I just love your series so much! I discovered The Shadow Sister by chance and have now completed all five of the books in the series. My favourite sister is Maia since I have a lot in common with her, including being a translator. Can't wait for the next one! Please keep them coming. Any chance of continuing the series after book seven? All the best to you. Regards Tholakele

Just finished The Pearl Sister and waiting for The Moon Sister to arrive. I love love this series of yours....and as I'm learning more about the girls, I can't help but feel that there is a story about Merope, the missing sister...will we learn anything about Merope, why she is missing, before the series ends?
