Read as many books by authors who lived in the period you are writing about as possible. But of course, it’s vital to develop your own personal ‘voice’.
• Let your imagination run wild – live, breathe and inhabit the worlds you write about and your characters. And never, ever think that anything you write is ‘unreal’ – the truth is really stranger than fiction and I have lots of emails from readers to prove it!
• If you have a bad day when nothing seems to be going right, don’t read back or tear up the pages in a rage. Simply get up the following morning and continue with your story.
• Above all, once you start, DO NOT STOP until you reach the end.

My Boss gave me 2 years ago the book the olive tree and I felt in love with your writing/storys. The 7 Sisters Series are just perfect!The first one (which is my all time favourite) and now I am looking forward to the Sun Sister and I have read also all the other books and there are still 3 books missing that I have to read as soon as possible. Will there be again a new book this year?

Hi Lucinda I just love your series so much! I discovered The Shadow Sister by chance and have now completed all five of the books in the series. My favourite sister is Maia since I have a lot in common with her, including being a translator. Can't wait for the next one! Please keep them coming.
