Do you have any book recommendation for medieval, renaissance and England civil war historical fiction?

Sharon Kay Penman Hi, Mengyu. Not for English Civil War fiction or Renaissance fiction. For medieval fiction, I highly recommend Bernard Cornwell's Saxon series. He has a number of other books set in the medieval period, but his Saxon series books are simply amazing. Elizabeth Chadwick writes about the 12th century, and her two volumes about William Marshal, The Greatest Knight and The Scarlet Lion, are loved by many of my readers and high on my own To Read List. I really enjoyed Margaret George's novel about Elizabeth I in her twilight. I have just started David Blixt's Master of Verona, the first book in his trilogy about 14th century Italy and Dante. And of course there are classics like Anya Seton's Katherine. I hope this helps.
