What made you choose Maine as the setting for these books? I'm reading First Time in Forever and love this setting, the feel of the book.

Sarah Morgan Hi Kim, I'm so pleased you're enjoying the setting of First Time in Forever! The series I wrote before Puffin Island (the O'Neil Brothers) was set in the mountains of Vermont so I wanted to do something coastal with this new series, and wanted somewhere that would feel familiar to readers across the globe. Maine is similar in many ways to Cornwall in the South West of England, and Penobscot Bay has many islands and great sailing so it seemed like the perfect place to put my fictional island!
