Cheryl Baranski
Cheryl Baranski asked Amy Lillard:

Amy, When did you first have the desire for writing? Who or what inspired you to write? Do you work on more than one book project at a time?

Amy Lillard My desire to write started in the 7th grade. I had always been a 'writer'. I would constantly jot down notes and ideas and poems and all sorts of things in a notebook. But I never really thought that people wrote stories for a living. After all, look at how many past writers died in poverty. So I went about my merry way and started college and did all the normal things. My husband and I had the opportunity to live in the Caribbean. (Yes, it was fantastic.) While we were there, I didn't have to work. Boredom quickly took over and my imagination went into overdrive. Next thing I know, my sister in law and I had written a book! I've been writing ever since.

Yes, I do work on more than one project at a time. I know that not all authors do. But since I have so many genres I like to write, it seems I have to work on multiple projects or I get idea back up. LOL
