Did you always aspire to be a writer or did you ever have aspirations to be a researcher? Which quality (the writing or the research) speaks to you more as you are writing? Thank you for your works!

Dear Mr. Larson, What can you tell us about efforts to bring any of your works to the big screen? I would think your stories would translate very naturally and effectively to film, and, according to a search of IMDB, there are a couple of projects in development. Understanding the complexity of such translation, is this something you would welcome and feel can do justice to your books?

I've read Devil, Beasts and Isaac's and really enjoyed and recommend all the time. I forgot about Thunderstruck and will add to list along with Lusitania. How do you come up with your topics? They seem pretty diverse. Do you stumble across a news item or other writing and decide to dig in further? A history buff? And how long is your current list of books to write? Keep them coming, please.
