Hi Mr. Larson, The sinking of the Lusitania has always intrigued me. My question is: Is there any truth to the story that any rich and important people planning to be on that ships fateful crossing were warned to stay stateside because President Wilson was under pressure from "Wall St." to get the US into a war?

In the age of "Googling" how do you find the primary sources for your books? As a school Media Specialist, I try to teach students to use the databases provided for them but they prefer to "Google" the question and get a one line answer, which may not be accurate. How would you tell students that research is important?

I will be going to Berlin in May and my companion is reading In the Garden of Beasts right now (at my insistence!) In your view, what are the must see locations that will make this story even more tangible and terrifying? (I have told many that your book is the "Boiling the Frog" experience of the Third Reich as my encouragement for them to read it.)
